Role Overview

Hallmark Global Technologies, Inc. is looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager (PM) to lead critical Azure Cloud Migration initiatives onsite in Omaha, Nebraska. This role requires a unique blend of project management rigor and deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure. As a Technical PM, you will not just manage timelines; you will define and execute the end-to-end strategy for moving subscriptions and associated workloads from legacy environments to target Azure tenants. This is a high-impact role that involves heavy automation, governance, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migration Strategy & Execution: Define and execute the end-to-end strategy for moving subscriptions and associated workloads to target Azure tenants.
  • Azure Platform Engineering: Utilize Bicep and Azure Verified Modules (AVM) to create and automate landing zones, Subscription Vending, and standardized resource deployment.
  • DevOps Pipelines: Design and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Subscription Governance: Implement Azure subscription management, including RBAC, policy enforcement, management groups, and naming conventions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (App teams, Security, Networking) to manage migration waves, dependencies, and risks.
  • Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using PowerShell/Bicep and optimize Azure costs and resource utilization.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed technical documentation, migration runbooks, and provide status reporting to leadership.

Technical Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program/project management.
  • At least 3+ years specifically focused on Azure Cloud Migration projects.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Infrastructure, including Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Landing Zones, and Subscription Vending.
  • Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep for declarative infrastructure deployment.
  • Practical experience implementing Azure Verified Modules (AVM) to standardize and accelerate resource deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines).
  • Experience with Azure Migrate for assessment and migration execution.

Soft Skills & Leadership

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage migration waves and coordinate between multiple engineering teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization and resource efficiency.
  • Ability to work onsite in Omaha, NE, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $135,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
