Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join our client’s team in Minneapolis. This unique role combines the strategic vision of a Product Owner with the operational excellence of a Scrum Master. You will be responsible for developing an enterprise software solution focused on Crew Meal selections for Pilots and Flight Attendants, a critical component of airline operations. This is a hybrid role requiring a presence in the Twin Cities office on a one-week-on, one-week-off rotation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate the Product Vision and Roadmap for the Crew Meal selection platform.
  • Effectively build and manage the Product Backlog, ensuring that features are prioritized based on business value and technical feasibility.
  • Coordinate sprints, lead retrospective meetings, and facilitate daily stand-ups to keep the development team aligned.
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks, guiding the development team toward higher levels of scrum maturity.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external communications with customers and stakeholders, translating their needs into actionable user stories.
  • Collaborate with Digital Business partners and vendors to co-develop roadmaps and drive features from concept to launch.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analytics, UX design, engineering, and user enablement.
  • Turn data insights into products with actionable outcomes for the ultimate customer.
  • Define and execute go-to-market plans, ensuring that marketing and sales teams have the necessary tools for success.
  • Maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Technical Product Owner role.
  • Strong familiarity with software development lifecycles and technical architectures.
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, including Definition of Done, User Stories, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on conflict resolution.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a similar field.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM) or Product Owner certification (CSPO) is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional communication and servant leadership skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
