Role Overview: Technical Program Manager (AI & QA Focus)
Convextech Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) for a long-term hybrid contract position based in Sunnyvale, CA. This role is designed for a strategic leader who can navigate the complexities of a large-box enterprise environment while maintaining a deep technical understanding of software engineering and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level program goals and technical execution, specifically within the domains of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-team, multi-quarter technical programs from inception through delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise business objectives.
- Drive the execution of AI/ML initiatives, including managing the model lifecycle, MLOps integration, and complex data pipeline development.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to define automation strategies, regression testing frameworks, and rigorous release validation processes.
- Navigate large-scale enterprise architectures, ensuring seamless system integration across distributed environments and APIs.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum or SAFe ceremonies, managing backlogs, sprints, and cross-functional dependencies in a hybrid delivery model.
- Act as a primary liaison between engineering teams and executive stakeholders, providing transparent communication on program health, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee AI governance and compliance, ensuring models meet monitoring standards and bias mitigation requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in Technical Program Management or Engineering Leadership within a large enterprise setting.
- A strong technical foundation in software development, system architecture, or QA engineering is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in delivering complex programs involving AI/ML technologies and data-driven systems.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Background in high-compliance or regulated industries such as Retail, Healthcare, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and system validation in a continuous integration environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $55 – $62 per year
