Role Overview
Centraprise Corp is currently seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager for a high-priority, long-term engagement based onsite in Irving, Texas. This role is pivotal for a major enterprise-level digital transformation initiative, specifically focusing on the complex migration of legacy database systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both project management methodologies and the technical nuances of database architecture, specifically moving from Oracle environments to PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a large-scale Oracle to PostgreSQL migration project, ensuring all milestones are met within the defined scope and timeline.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Database Administrators, Software Engineers, and Quality Assurance specialists, to ensure seamless data transition and application compatibility.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, risk management plans, and resource allocation schedules.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to provide progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Implement Agile or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to the project phase, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to industry best practices.
- Oversee the technical validation of migrated data to ensure integrity, performance, and security standards are maintained in the new environment.
- Manage vendor relationships and internal resource constraints to optimize project throughput.
Technical Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager specifically leading database migration projects.
- Strong technical background in Oracle Database systems and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with schema conversion tools and data replication strategies.
- Expertise in project management software such as JIRA, MS Project, or Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work onsite in Irving, TX, on a full-time basis.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
