Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the implementation of enterprise-grade pricing software solutions. This is a critical onsite role based in Atlanta, GA, requiring a unique blend of technical depth, project management rigor, and domain expertise in pricing systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex software implementations, ensuring that technical solutions align with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle implementation of pricing software platforms such as PriceFx, Vendavo, Zulliant, or PROS.
- Manage cross-functional project teams, including software developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and resource allocation maps using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Facilitate technical discussions regarding microservices architecture, cloud integrations, and database schema design to support pricing logic.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
- Oversee the integration of pricing engines with existing enterprise systems (ERP, CRM) to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-implementation reviews and implementing best practices in project management.
Technical Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in Technical Project Management, specifically within the software development lifecycle.
- Proven hands-on experience with pricing software tools (PriceFx, Vendavo, Zulliant, or PROS) is mandatory.
- Strong technical background in cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices-based architectures.
- Expertise in managing integrations and understanding database structures.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or Scrum Master certification is highly preferred.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise digital transformation projects.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Special Requirements
Onsite requirement in Atlanta, GA. Domain restriction: Must have specific experience with PriceFx, Vendavo, Zulliant, or PROS.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
