Role Overview: Technical Project Manager for Pricing Software
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager with over 12 years of professional experience to lead a critical Pricing Software Implementation project in Atlanta, GA. This is a high-impact role requiring a unique blend of technical depth and strategic project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving technical teams through the complexities of implementing enterprise-grade pricing optimization and management solutions. This position is onsite in Atlanta from day one, requiring a local presence to facilitate close collaboration with stakeholders and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities and Project Scope
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of pricing software platforms such as PriceFx, Vendavo, Zulliant, or PROS, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Manage medium-to-large scale development and support programs, overseeing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Translate complex stakeholder needs into actionable technical deliverables, maintaining a clear roadmap for project execution.
- Utilize deep technical knowledge in Microservices, Cloud architectures, and Databases to guide development teams and resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Define and track project metrics, including ROI and business case success, providing regular status reports to executive leadership.
- Proactively identify project risks, constraints, and dependencies, developing robust mitigation plans to ensure on-time delivery.
- Facilitate seamless communication between technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders to ensure unified project goals.
- Control project scope and evaluate business priorities to efficiently balance resource allocation across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Technical and Professional Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess a strong technical background, ideally with prior experience in coding, integrations, and cloud-native technologies. You must have a proven track record of leading multi-year, highly complex projects at an enterprise level. Expertise in Agile methodologies and structured project management tools is essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage project schedules, identify technical challenges early, and drive the execution of microservices-based applications. Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems and price optimization engines is a mandatory requirement for this role. We are looking for a leader who can navigate the intricacies of large-scale digital transformations while maintaining a focus on technical excellence and business value.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $124,800 – $145,000 per year
