Role: Technical Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead delivery management for projects involving Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Policy Administration systems within the Insurance Property & Casualty domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the SDLC and experience managing projects across various technical stacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery management for projects utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Policy Administration systems.
- Manage projects within the Insurance Property & Casualty domain.
- Oversee the entire SDLC and manage project delivery across diverse technical stacks.
- Develop project plans, roadmaps, and implementation timelines based on customer needs.
- Regularly report project status and escalate risks to Customer Executives and leadership teams.
- Mentor and coach the project team, working collaboratively with offshore teams to achieve common goals on time and with high quality.
- Ensure good communication and analytical skills are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster good interpersonal skills to effectively work with external areas and vendors as needed.
- Perform effectively under pressure in a demanding environment.
Essential Skills:
- Primary Skill: Technical Project Manager, Delivery management in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Policy Administration systems in Insurance.
- Secondary Skill: Property & Casualty Insurance, SDLC.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with specific Policy Administration systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Significant experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, onsite position located in San Antonio, TX. The role requires a candidate who can withstand pressure in a demanding environment and has a strong understanding of IT project delivery.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100 – $130 per year (Estimated)
