Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager to join our engineering team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical depth and superior program management capabilities. The successful candidate will lead medium to large-scale projects from initial inception through to final deployment, ensuring all technical and business objectives are met within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex engineering projects, serving as the primary point of contact for program delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements involving JavaScript, HTML, and Java-based applications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Drive results by managing scope, schedule, and costs effectively, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Facilitate Scrum and Agile ceremonies, adapting methodologies to a hybrid environment where necessary.
- Present project status, risks, and milestones to large groups and executive leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Cultivate strong relationships across cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative and positive work culture.
Technical and Professional Requirements
- 7-10 years of dedicated experience in engineering project management within complex, fast-paced environments.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects from inception to deployment.
- Strong technical background with a functional understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML) and back-end Java applications.
- Expertise in SDLC, Scrum, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining high standards of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Apple or within the Apple ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Domain expertise in Retail and eCommerce business sectors.
- Advanced certifications in Project Management (PMP, CSM).
Work Environment
This position requires an onsite presence in Sunnyvale, CA, at least three times per week. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic office setting that encourages face-to-face collaboration and rapid iteration. Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
