Role Description:
DTCC Digital Assets is seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Technical Writer to support our cross-functional engineering and product teams. This role will be instrumental in documenting complex systems and processes across blockchain development, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and regulatory compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with specific knowledge of corporate actions and collateral management workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and maintain high-quality documentation for internal and external audiences, including:
- System architecture overviews
- API documentation
- User guides and onboarding materials
- Compliance and regulatory process documentation
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business analysts to translate technical concepts into clear, concise documentation.
- Document workflows and data flows related to corporate actions processing and collateral lifecycle management.
- Maintain documentation repositories and ensure version control and accessibility.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge bases and training materials for new platform features and services.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in financial services or fintech.
- Strong understanding of capital markets infrastructure, including corporate actions, collateral management, and post-trade processing.
- Familiarity with blockchain concepts, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and microservice architectures.
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
