Job Description: Telecom Function Analyst – Mobile Testing

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Function Analyst with a focus on Mobile Testing to join our team. This is an onsite position located in St. Louis, MO, with a duration of 6+ months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing for Telecom (Mobile Postpaid/Prepaid) service provider domain applications, including ordering, activation, provisioning, and billing.
• Understand business requirements thoroughly and provide accurate test estimations.
• Collaborate effectively with multi-vendor resources across different geographies.
• Ensure strong written and verbal communication skills are utilized throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze and test telecom functions related to mobile services.
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.
• Work closely with development and business teams to ensure quality and functionality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Develop and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in test planning, strategy, and review meetings.
• Validate data integrity and system performance under various load conditions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in telecom testing.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and any identified risks or issues.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
• Maintain test documentation and test scripts.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues reported by users or found during testing.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile telecom and testing.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of critical telecom systems.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliverables.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
• Validate system configurations and settings.
• Test various mobile platforms and devices as required.
• Ensure all testing activities are well-documented and traceable.
• Support the deployment of new features and functionalities.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure scalability and stability.
• Verify that all business rules and logic are correctly implemented.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure the security aspects of the applications are tested.
• Contribute to the overall success of the project by delivering high-quality testing services.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Telecom (Mobile Postpaid/Prepaid) service provider domain.
• Proficiency in testing ordering, activation, provisioning, and billing applications.
• Excellent understanding of business requirements and test estimation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with multi-vendor resources across geography.
• Familiarity with keywords such as ‘golang’ and ‘Missouri’ is a plus.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
