Role Overview:
Centraprise Global is seeking a highly skilled Test Architect with expert-level proficiency in Playwright for both UI and API automation. This role requires strong programming experience in TypeScript/Node.js or Python, and knowledge of Generative AI (Gen AI) for building agents. The Test Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our client’s applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks using Playwright for UI and API testing.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient automation scripts in TypeScript/Node.js or Python.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test automation opportunities and integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Develop and execute test strategies that ensure comprehensive test coverage for applications.
- Leverage knowledge of Gen AI to explore and implement solutions for building intelligent agents within the testing process.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior QA engineers on test automation best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and quality assurance.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Expert level proficiency in Playwright for both UI and API automation.
- Strong programming experience in TypeScript/Node.js or Python.
- Knowledge of Generative AI (Gen AI) on Building Agents.
- Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
