Job Summary:
Join us as a Test Automation Engineer at our banking client where you will spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute end-to-end test plans/cases for distributed systems, blockchain platforms, APIs, and wallets.
- Ensure understanding of performance, resilience, failover, and security testing for regulated digital asset environments.
- Manage test environments across payment schemes, blockchain networks, and backend services.
- Build API automation frameworks (REST, Kafka based) using Python/Java with CI/CD integration.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in test automation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Karate, BDD/Gherkin, Selenium).
- Proven experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans.
- Understanding of performance, resilience, failover, and security testing principles.
- Experience managing test environments for complex systems.
- Proficiency in building API automation frameworks using Python or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with distributed systems, blockchain platforms, APIs, and wallets.
- Understanding of Payment systems within the bank and knowledge of Digital Assets.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation:
The expected pay range for this role is $50 – $60 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and interview evaluation.
