Job Title: Test Lead/ Engineer
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Test Lead/Engineer to join our team for a contract position onsite in Raritan, NJ. The role involves leading test automation efforts and ensuring the quality of software deliverables within the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance and direction for test activities.
- Develop, review, and execute test scripts, test plans, and test summary reports.
- Perform manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure adherence to GxP guidelines and regulatory requirements within the testing process.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify and document defects, track them to resolution, and communicate findings to relevant teams.
- Work with testing tools such as HP-ALM and TestRail.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies, particularly within Agile environments.
- Lead the test automation team and drive the implementation of automation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues, including international teams.
- Manage testing activities to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Demonstrate dynamism, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead.
- Strong knowledge of GxP, Test Script preparation, review, and execution.
- Proficiency in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing processes.
- Demonstrable experience in manual testing and automation testing.
- Experience with testing tools like HP-ALM and TestRail.
- Experience in the Pharma or Life Sciences domain is highly desirable.
- Experience in functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and UAT.
- Knowledge of the software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Ability to lead and mentor a test automation team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
