Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with a strong background in software testing within the electrical utilities or energy sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Distribution Management Systems (DMS), Outage Management Systems (OMS), and Network Management Systems (NMS). This role requires a deep understanding of electricity transmission and distribution business processes and proven experience leading testing activities for large-scale utilities technology programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all testing activities for utility technology programs, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct functional, non-functional, integration, and system testing.
- Manage defect tracking, reporting, and resolution processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
- Communicate test progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively.
- Oversee testing for storm management and emergency preparedness platforms (e.g., Urbint, ARCOS).
- Ensure seamless integration testing between OMS and other enterprise systems.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular status updates.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, specifically within electrical utilities or energy sector environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Distribution Management Systems (DMS), Outage Management Systems (OMS), and Network Management Systems (NMS).
- In-depth understanding of electricity transmission and distribution business processes.
- Proven experience leading testing efforts for large utilities technology programs.
- Experience with storm management and emergency preparedness platforms such as Urbint or ARCOS.
- Proficiency in integration testing between OMS and other enterprise systems.
- Strong command of functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
- Experience working with SCADA / DMS / OMS platforms from vendors like OSI, Monarch, Siemens, GE, and ABB.
- Demonstrated ability in managing test plans, test cases, defect tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: $60 – $75 per year (Estimated)
