Role Overview:
The Threat Release Manager is accountable for coordinating cross-functional network implementations, engineering support, and service delivery work. This role involves managing tasks, gathering delivery requirements, facilitating communications, escalating issues, and tracking synergies and dependencies to support network implementation deliverables. A key focus is on Cybersecurity Release Deployment, including new deployments of Security Systems for high-profile projects. The manager will work closely with Engineers, Program and Project Managers, and other support service providers.
The Threat Release Manager will focus on and forecast the delivery track of multi-phase work against the change and release calendar, requiring a full understanding of bank change processes. The technology areas of concentration include Data Center DMZ, B2B, VOR, Enterprise Corporate, Wealth Management, and Branch Financial Center End User networks. This also includes Building Networking solutions such as Wireless LAN, Structured Cabling, Cable Systems and Pathways, Public and private transport systems, WAN, Optical systems, and emerging technologies like Switched-Ethernet, LTE, SDWAN, Cloud, and Virtualized services.
Knowledge in related technology areas such as Network Appliance, Video, Voice and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions, UC and Collaboration services is important. A better-than-general understanding of networking technologies and functions, including Operations, Architecture and Engineering, Product and Service Management, Business Services, and Finance, is crucial for this role.
The Threat Release Manager must be mindful of how their role impacts the firm’s business and reputation. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-functional network implementations and engineering support.
- Manage tasks, gather delivery requirements, and facilitate communications.
- Escalate issues and track synergies and dependencies for network implementation deliverables.
- Oversee Cybersecurity Release Deployment for new security system implementations.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Program Managers, and Project Managers.
- Forecast multi-phase work against change and release calendars.
- Understand and adhere to bank change processes.
- Focus on technology areas including Data Center DMZ, B2B, VOR, Enterprise Corporate, Wealth Management, and Branch Financial Center End User networks.
- Manage Building Networking solutions (Wireless LAN, Structured Cabling, WAN, Optical systems, SDWAN, Cloud, etc.).
- Leverage knowledge of Network Appliance, Video, Voice/VoIP, UC, and Collaboration services.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of networking technologies and functions (Operations, Architecture, Product Management, Finance).
- Ensure role positively impacts the firm’s business and reputation.

- Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently.
- Work within a global solutions and service delivery organization.
- Interface with internal and external customers, suppliers, Architecture, Product Engineering, Change Management, Service Management, Finance, and Senior Management.
- Adhere to and utilize standards, product sets, templates, systems, and artifacts.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth experience in Threat platforms including SkyHigh Secure Web Gateway, F5 SSLO, Trellix FireEye.
- Industry Certifications in PMP, ITIL are strongly preferred.
- Technical certifications such as CCNA are a plus.
- Strong background in IT service delivery role.
- Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking) experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in required skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
