Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced TIBCO Spotfire Admin / Developer to manage, develop, and support Spotfire-based analytics solutions. The role involves administration, dashboard development, performance optimization, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver data-driven insights across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spotfire Administration
    • Administer and manage the TIBCO Spotfire environment, including user access, security, and system configurations
    • Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and configurations to ensure platform stability and performance
    • Handle system administration tasks including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Development & Visualization
    • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using TIBCO Spotfire
    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and visual analytics
    • Apply best practices in data visualization and storytelling
  • Data & Performance Optimization
    • Optimize data models, queries, and dashboards for improved performance and scalability
    • Work with databases and SQL to manage and transform data efficiently
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements
    • Provide technical support, training, and guidance to end users and internal teams
  • Support & Troubleshooting
    • Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to the Spotfire platform
    • Coordinate with vendors for advanced support when required

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in TIBCO Spotfire Administration and Development
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization principles
  • Experience in performance tuning and system administration
  • Ability to build and optimize interactive dashboards and reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Spotfire Admin and Developer (7-11 years)
  • In-depth knowledge of TIBCO Spotfire tools, features, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
