Position Summary
KK Associates LLC is currently hiring a dedicated Middleware Administrator specializing in Tomcat, Weblogic, and Apache environments for a premier client in Irving, Texas. This is an onsite position requiring a professional with deep technical expertise in managing complex middleware stacks, ensuring high availability, and maintaining rigorous security standards. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver capable of handling everything from routine certificate renewals to complex system migrations and performance tuning in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SSL/TLS certificates, including request creation, renewal, F5 change initiation, and upstream/downstream validation.
- Execute vulnerability patch upgrades by developing procedures in non-production environments and coordinating with JDE and application teams for production implementation.
- Perform comprehensive health checks and manual validations of supported websites, initiating incidents and engaging application teams when necessary.
- Lead middleware migrations, including product installation (Tomcat, Domino, Vice Versa), solution design with architects, and production cutover planning.
- Handle application deployments by reviewing artifacts, comparing code versions, performing server restarts, and conducting post-deployment log validations.
- Maintain system integrity through file system cleanup, access resolution, and detailed log analysis.
- Support file transfer operations, including job monitoring, password rotations, and troubleshooting sync issues.
- Provide robust incident management and runner support, utilizing Dynatrace and Windows Performance Monitor for real-time assessment.
- Facilitate user management within Domino and assist with SOX audits and user routing diagnostics.
- Coordinate with vendors for support tickets, contract renewals, and product upgrades.
Technical Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate a strong background in Windows services, automated application restarts, and centralized log management. Experience with F5 load balancers and performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace is essential. The role demands excellent communication skills to coordinate with Application Architects, development teams, and platform teams during critical production changes and hypercare periods. You will be expected to cross-train team members on environment changes and maintain detailed documentation for all system maintenance and batch support activities.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
