Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer with a strong background in Financial Services to join our client, Altimetrik/Clover. This role requires expertise in creating and maintaining enterprise design systems, building reusable Figma components, and crafting high-fidelity UIs for complex financial platforms. The ideal candidate will also be skilled in UX research, wireframing, and usability testing to translate complex problems into user-friendly experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual & UI Design:
- Create, maintain, and scale an enterprise design system, ensuring consistency across multiple financial platforms.
- Build and manage reusable Figma components using features like Auto-layout, Variants, and Variables.
- Manage Design Tokens to streamline handoff with engineering teams.
- Create pixel-perfect interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines while optimizing for complex data visualization and financial dashboards.
- Experience & UX Design:
- Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, surveys, stakeholder workshops) to uncover user pain points.
- Translate user pain points into clear requirements and design specifications.
- Map out intricate user journeys, task flows, and low-fidelity wireframes for complex financial transactions.
- Translate complex problems into user-friendly and intuitive experiences.
- Conduct usability testing sessions and iterate on designs based on real-world feedback and data-driven insights.
What We’re Looking For:
- Studies: Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field is highly preferred.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in FinTech or Banking (5+ years) is highly preferred, particularly in handling complex workflows, dashboards, payment flows, data-heavy interfaces, and compliance-heavy environments.
- Technical Toolkit: Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Figjam, and Figma make and lovable is a must. Familiarity with Jira and documentation tools is expected.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process from initial research and sketches to the final implementation of design systems and components.
- Communication: Ability to defend design decisions to high-level stakeholders in the financial sector and collaborate closely with global engineering teams.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to articulate complex concepts and workflows clearly, with a demonstrated capability in delivering UX and UI prototypes for validation.
