Job Title: UI/UX Designer (Designer II, Design Ops – Workflow / UX Focus)

We are looking for three talented UI/UX Designers to join our team. This role focuses on Design Operations and Workflow/UX, requiring candidates to be local to Houston, TX, even though the position is remote. The ideal candidate will partner closely with end-users and product teams to design intuitive and efficient user experiences that simplify interactions and align with how users perform their work.

Position Overview:

The Designer II will conduct user research, workflow analysis, and usability studies to deeply understand user needs and operational pain points. The primary goal is to design user interfaces and process flows that minimize clicks, reduce page transitions, and streamline end-to-end workflows. This role involves translating complex business processes into intuitive user experiences, supported by clear wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models. Collaboration with engineering, product, and business stakeholders is key to validating designs and ensuring efficient implementation. Maintaining design system standards and contributing to design operations practices for consistency and reuse are also critical aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research, workflow analysis, and usability studies to understand user needs and operational pain points.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in UX design, product design, or design operations within enterprise software environments.
  • Strong skills in workflow analysis, user research, and usability testing.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools and prototyping software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Ability to translate complex processes into clean, intuitive, user-centered experiences.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
