Position Summary
Dia Software Solutions is looking for a Senior UI/UX Developer 4 for a direct client opportunity in Hanover, VA. This is a 6-month contract position requiring 100% onsite presence. With a requirement of over 12 years of experience, we are looking for a seasoned professional who can lead the design and development of complex user interfaces for state government applications. In 2026, the demand for accessible, high-performance government portals is at an all-time high, and this role is central to delivering those critical services to the public. You will be responsible for the end-to-end user experience, from initial wireframing to final implementation in a .NET environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive user interfaces using ASP.Net, MVC, and modern web technologies.
- Implement front-end logic using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Work with back-end systems including Oracle and SQL Server, utilizing PL/SQL for data management and integration.
- Utilize TFS and GIT for version control and collaborative development within a structured team environment.
- Develop desktop applications using WinForms and WPF where required for legacy system support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure UI/UX designs align with business goals and user needs.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction.
- Ensure all designs meet strict accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) required for government applications.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional experience in the .NET ecosystem (C#, VB, .Net Framework).
- Extensive experience with front-end frameworks and libraries including JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Strong proficiency in database technologies, specifically Oracle and SQL Server with PL/SQL expertise.
- Prior experience working with State Government projects is highly preferred and will be a key differentiator.
- Experience with modern frameworks like Angular or React is a significant plus for future-proofing applications.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in a timely manner.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $220,000 per year
