Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented UX Architect to lead the design of seamless, intuitive, and accessible user experiences across our digital insurance platforms. You will work at the intersection of user needs, business goals, and technology, designing experiences that drive customer satisfaction, retention, and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance products (Life, P&C, Health, etc.) and workflows, and be skilled in designing user experiences across customer journeys such as quote & buy, policy management, claims filing, billing, and self-service.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of user experiences for digital insurance platforms, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
  • Design user journeys for key insurance processes including quote & buy, policy management, claims filing, billing, and self-service.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive and effective user interfaces.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
  • Ensure designs are accessible and adhere to industry best practices and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in UX design/architecture.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Solid portfolio showcasing UX design work for complex enterprise or customer-facing applications.
  • Proficient in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of design systems, interaction design principles, and responsive frameworks.
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
  • Experience in Property and Casualty is Mandatory.
  • Experience in Figma, Make, and Replit.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
