Job Title: UX Designer
DMS Vision Inc is seeking an experienced UX Designer for a hybrid role in Redmond, WA. This is a 6+ months contract position requiring the candidate to be local to the Seattle/Redmond area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UX research to uncover user needs, behaviors, and motivations that inform design decisions.
- Apply design thinking and other frameworks to drive innovation, solve real customer problems, and influence business outcomes.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate and validate design ideas.
- Optimize conversion rates using A/B testing, heatmaps, and behavioral insights.
- Present design concepts and rationale through storytelling and data.
- Monitor post-launch performance and iterate based on user feedback and KPIs.
- Stay current with UX trends, tools, and technologies, especially AI.
- Champion inclusive design by adhering to WCAG standards and designing for diverse users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years of experience working in product or service design.
- 4+ years of experience with Figma, prototyping, and design systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience in UX design.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Proven track record of designing and shipping impactful eCommerce experiences at scale.
- Organized, curious, and collaborative, thriving in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be local to Seattle/Redmond.
- Ideal candidates should have e-commerce experience, the ability to use AI tools, and strong design thinking abilities.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating design thinking and process is required.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year
