Job Opportunity: UX Designer with SAS Experience
We are looking for a highly experienced UX Designer with a minimum of 10 years of experience, specifically with a strong background in designing SAS products or SAS-based platforms. This is a contract position located in Sunnyvale, CA, and requires candidates to be local to the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the user experience design for SAS products and platforms, ensuring intuitive and efficient user flows.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and implement user-centered design solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
- Ensure designs align with SAS analytics workflows and execution models (batch vs. interactive).
- Contribute to the design of model governance and deployment strategies within SAS environments.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of UX/Product Design experience.
- Direct and extensive experience designing SAS products or SAS-based platforms (e.g., Viya, Studio, Model Manager, Visual Analytics, or similar).
- Strong working knowledge of SAS analytics workflows.
- Understanding of SAS execution models (batch vs. interactive).
- Experience with model governance and deployment in SAS environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
