Job Opportunity: Senior UX Researcher (Onsite)
Adventa Tech Inc. is looking for a seasoned UX Researcher to join a critical project in Mechanicsburg, PA. This is a 100% onsite role requiring a professional who can lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to drive high-impact product and design decisions. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will be embedded within an agile delivery team, working in rapid two-week sprint cycles to validate concepts and iterate on user experiences. You will be the voice of the user, ensuring that every digital product we deliver is accessible, intuitive, and aligned with user needs.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Research Execution: Lead the full UX research lifecycle, from initial discovery and ideation to validation and post-launch iteration. You will select the appropriate methodologies—such as user interviews, ethnographic studies, or surveys—to gather deep insights.
- Agile Integration: Work seamlessly within agile frameworks, delivering actionable insights within the constraints of two-week sprints. You must be able to synthesize data quickly without compromising the quality or depth of the findings.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers. You will be responsible for presenting research findings to leadership teams, using storytelling and data visualization to advocate for user-centered design.
- Usability Testing: Conduct rigorous digital user testing to identify friction points in the user journey. You will provide clear, prioritized recommendations for design improvements based on observed user behavior.
- Accessibility Advocacy: Ensure that all research and subsequent design recommendations adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG), promoting inclusive design across all platforms.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience dedicated to UX Research.
- Mastery of collaborative tools and stakeholder alignment strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in conducting user interviews and qualitative discovery sessions.
- Demonstrated success in delivering research insights within an Agile Product Delivery environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing how research influenced final product outcomes and business ROI.
Work Environment and Expectations
This position requires a 100% onsite presence in Mechanicsburg, PA. Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate immediately. The interview process includes a mandatory onsite interview. Compensation & Location
Salary: $65 – $90 per year (Estimated)
