Job Title: Vermilion Reporting Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated Vermilion Reporting Specialist for a contract position in Newark, NJ. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact financial reporting platforms with top-tier teams in the Investment Reporting / Asset Management Tech sector.

About the Role:

  • Work on the Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS), a highly in-demand tool in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize the Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS).
  • Integrate VRS with various systems including SQL Server, Oracle, Markit EDM, and Aladdin.
  • Utilize APIs (XML/JSON) for data exchange.
  • Build automated reporting workflows and batch jobs.
  • Design and develop high-quality client reports in PDF, Excel, and HTML formats.
  • Perform thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of the reporting system.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Financial Services / Asset Management Technology.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (MS SQL / Oracle) and ETL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS modules, APIs, reporting capabilities).
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Data, including Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
  • Experience with Power BI is considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
