Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced VMWare Administrator to manage and maintain our VMware solutions. This role requires demonstrated experience in the architecture, deployment, and management of VMware environments, with a strong emphasis on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will be responsible for managing OCI Compute, Block Volumes, Boot Volumes, Custom Images, and Shapes, utilizing both the OCI Console and CLI. Experience with automation tools like Terraform and Ansible is preferred, and a strong understanding of migration processes using Rack ware and Oracle REDREI is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture, deployment, and management of VMware Solutions.
  • Manage Oracle Compute Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture and operations.
  • Administer OCI Compute, Block Volumes, Boot Volumes, Custom Images, and Shapes.
  • Utilize OCI Console and OCI CLI for resource management.
  • Implement automation using Terraform and Ansible (preferred).
  • Perform detailed migration tasks using Rack ware tool (MUST HAVE).
  • Execute Oracle REDREI migration tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the VMware and OCI environments.
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and security of the infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a VMWare Administrator.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecture, deployment, and management of VMware Solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Compute Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture and operations.
  • Expertise in OCI Compute, Block Volumes, Boot Volumes, Custom Images, and Shapes.
  • Proficiency with OCI Console and OCI CLI.
  • Experience with automation tools like Terraform and Ansible is preferred.
  • Detailed migration knowledge and exposure to using the Rack ware tool is mandatory.
  • Oracle REDREI migration experience is required.
  • Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60,000 – $110,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Wawatosa, WI
