Position Summary
RD Solutions Inc is looking for a talented Web / SharePoint / Power Platform Developer to join a high-impact project in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 6-month contract opportunity requiring a hybrid presence (4 days onsite per week). The ideal candidate will be a Georgia local with a strong background in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, specifically focusing on SharePoint and the Power Platform. This role is restricted to US Citizens and EAD holders (H4/L2) due to project requirements. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of digital solutions, from initial design to final deployment and user training.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and test custom SharePoint solutions that meet complex business requirements.
- Enhance and maintain the agency’s Power Platform environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Create sophisticated Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and automate business processes using Power Automate.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Dataverse to support data-driven applications and integrations.
- Develop custom integrations between Microsoft 365 services and external systems using RESTful Web APIs and Azure.
- Design user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces, leveraging strong UX/UI design principles.
- Manage the technical aspects of the Content Management System (CMS) to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Generate comprehensive technical and functional documentation for all implemented systems.
- Develop and deliver user training programs to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners at all levels of management to define project scopes and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform services, including an in-depth understanding of its capabilities and constraints.
- Proficiency in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Strong development skills in JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, and SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Power Virtual Agents and complex data modeling in Dataverse.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical designs and functional specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Project Scope and Environment
This engagement focuses on modernizing agency workflows through the strategic application of Microsoft technologies. As a developer, you will not only build tools but also act as a consultant to business units, helping them understand how to leverage the Power Platform effectively. The role demands a strong eye for UX/UI design to ensure that all digital assets are visually appealing and intuitive for end-users. You will be expected to manage all technical aspects of the CMS and ensure that new features align with industry best practices. Given the hybrid nature of the role, candidates must be based in the Atlanta area and capable of working onsite four days a week. Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $170,000 per year
