Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Webmethods Consultant to join our team in Raritan, NJ. This is a critical role requiring a deep technical understanding of the webMethods SoA fabric v10.x platform. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional experience in integration development, specifically within the Life Sciences (LS) industry. This position requires a hybrid work schedule, with 4 days per week onsite at our Raritan facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex integrations using the webMethods SoA fabric v10.x platform.
- Provide technical leadership and advisory services to resolve ongoing integration issues and modernize existing systems through enhancements and new development.
- Manage delivery outcomes by working closely with distributed teams in an agile environment.
- Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while adhering to strict GxP and Compliance requirements typical of the Life Sciences industry.
- Develop and maintain SOAP and REST APIs, supporting various patterns including synchronous, asynchronous, and broadcast communications.
- Optimize performance for complex message transformations and high-volume transactions.
- Utilize hands-on expertise with WM Broker, Trading Networks, My webMethods Server (MWS), and various adapters such as JDBC, SAP (IDOC, Odata), SFDC, SFTP, and HTTPS.
- Design and implement SAP-facing inbound and outbound transactions to support source, quality, make, deliver, and distribute domains.
- Facilitate on-premise to cloud migrations, considering integration impacts and design changes.
- Build and maintain functional and technical observability dashboards using enterprise tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Wily.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters to support sprint planning, grooming, and story point estimation.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with webMethods SoA fabric v10.x.
- Extensive experience in the Life Sciences industry with GxP compliance knowledge.
- Proven track record in designing integrations for large-scale, high-volume transactions.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks, parameter management, and data-driven testing.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including automated deployments and testing using open-source toolchains.
- Strong background in logging, error handling, and notification systems.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
