Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) Execution Expert with in-depth knowledge of WBM for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and successful migration of CAD and non-CAD data within the Windchill environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • WBM Execution: Leverage expert knowledge in Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Data Validation: Meticulously verify CAD and non-CAD data migration, ensuring data integrity and performing thorough reconciliation processes.
  • Migration Strategy: Develop comprehensive migration strategies, create detailed mapping documents, and define robust validation processes.
  • Custom Scripting: Develop SQL scripts and utilities for advanced data validation and analysis to support migration efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively between onsite and offshore teams, actively discussing and clarifying requirements with customers to ensure alignment.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Windchill Expertise: Strong understanding of Windchill Architecture, database structures, and proficiency with version 10.1 and higher.
  • Data Migration Knowledge: Proven experience in Windchill Data Migration projects, specifically utilizing WBM.
  • Database Proficiency: Strong SQL knowledge for Oracle/SQL Server, with a focus on analyzing large datasets.
  • Tools Familiarity: Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar.
  • Scripting: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Perl for developing custom validation scripts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain Experience: Experience in the medical device industry, including familiarity with UDI and the Regulatory Hub.
  • Certifications: Knowledge of PLM and data warehousing concepts.

  • ETL Testing

Desirable Skills:

  • Data Warehouse BI Testing
  • EIS PLM
  • Windchill Functional

Experience Required:

8-10 years

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
