Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Windows Kernel Driver Engineer to join our team for a long-term contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and debugging Windows drivers and system services. This role requires a strong understanding of kernel debugging and C/C++ programming.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and debug Windows drivers (WDM/KMDF) and system services.
- Diagnose complex issues using kernel debugging and crash dumps.
- Drive quality, validation, and release readiness, including HLK and signing processes.
- Implement telemetry and diagnostics for fast, remote issue resolution.
- Collaborate effectively with hardware, firmware, IHV, and Windows teams.
- Ensure the stability and performance of the Windows kernel and drivers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Windows drivers or low-level system software development.
- Strong kernel debugging skills are essential.
- Solid expertise in C/C++ programming.
- Comfortable working across hardware and firmware boundaries.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset and strong collaboration skills.
- Experience with HLK (Hardware Lab Kit) and driver signing is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Work Arrangement:
- This is a Hybrid position located in Redmond, WA.
- The role is a long-term contract.
- Local candidates are preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year
