Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Windows System Engineer with strong expertise in Azure and automation to join our team for a long-term contract role. This is a client-facing position that requires hands-on experience in cloud technologies, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The role involves supporting and enhancing enterprise infrastructure platforms, including on-call support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, both on-premises and in Azure.
  • Automate server provisioning and configuration using PowerShell.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning.
  • Provide on-call support and act as an escalation point for critical incidents.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams.
  • Engage with clients for technical updates and operational discussions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and automation standards.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and system optimization to improve efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Windows Server, including build, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proven experience in production support and on-call environments.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Plus Points

  • Experience with Java / Groovy for Jenkins scripting.
  • Knowledge of Group Policy (GPO).
  • Understanding of server security, hardening, and compliance.
  • Experience in hybrid cloud or enterprise environments.

Contract Details

  • Duration: Long-term Contract
  • Rate: $60/hr C2C (Including VMS Charges)
  • No GC profiles accepted.

  • Interviews will be conducted via Phone and Webex.
