About the Role

Seeking a Workday Business Analyst with strong experience in Workday Core HCM and Talent Acquisition.
Responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing HR and recruiting business processes.
Partner closely with HR, Talent, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
Ensure system stability, data integrity, and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a functional expert for Workday Core HCM and Talent Acquisition
  • Manage job requisitions, recruiting workflows, offers, onboarding, and employee lifecycle events
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Translate requirements into functional designs, configurations, and process improvements
  • Configure and maintain business processes (BPs), eligibility rules, condition rules, calculated fields, and security
  • Support Workday releases, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing
  • Recommend and implement new Workday features and enhancements
  • Partner with HR and Talent teams to streamline hiring, onboarding, and employee data processes
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
  • Provide timely resolution for system-related issues
  • Create functional documentation and training materials
  • Support end users and provide guidance as needed
  • Collaborate with vendors, implementation partners, and internal IT teams
  • Ensure seamless integrations and maintain data accuracy

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Workday Business Analyst or Functional Consultant
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM and Talent Acquisition
  • Strong understanding of HR and recruiting business processes
  • Experience with Workday configuration (business processes, security, condition rules, calculated fields)
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and work with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certifications in HCM or Talent Acquisition
  • Experience supporting Workday integrations and reporting (Core HR or TA)
  • Prior experience in construction, engineering, or project-based organizations
  • Exposure to additional Workday modules such as Onboarding, Compensation, or Reporting

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Sunnyvale, CA
