Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday HCM Lead who will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end implementation and optimization of a complex, multi-entity Workday solution. This position requires a subject matter expert who can seamlessly navigate the intersection of technical configuration and strategic business process design to support a diverse organizational structure.
This position will support cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of a robust solution covering HCM, U.S./Canada Payroll, Talent/Performance Management, Advanced Compensation, Prism, Journeys, and Help functionalities.
The ideal candidate will be critical in performing Fit-Gap analysis, defining global business processes, and ensuring the integrity and security of our data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday HCM modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday configurations.
- Configure and maintain Workday HCM, including but not limited to, Core HCM, Payroll, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Compensation.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of Workday configurations.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on Workday best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday configurations and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday releases and features, and assess their applicability to our organization.
- Support cross-functional teams in leveraging Workday for various business processes.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the Workday system.
- Assist with reporting and analytics needs within Workday.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Workday HCM Lead or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Talent, Performance, and Compensation.
- Experience with Workday configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Workday HCM is essential.
Additional Information:
- This is a remote position, but candidates local to the Melville, NY area are preferred.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- The client has left the rate open, and candidates are advised to stay low.
- This is a long-term project.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $100 per year (Estimated)
