Job Description: Workday PMO & Governance Analyst (Contractor)
We are looking for a skilled Workday PMO & Governance Analyst (Contractor) to provide essential operational support for Workday governance, portfolio visibility, reporting, documentation, and third-party risk management (TPRM). This role is crucial for ensuring that governance routines are well-documented and adhered to, all materials and artifacts are meticulously maintained in Confluence, and Workday vendor risk/compliance activities, including Archer attestations and ongoing monitoring, are completed punctually and kept in an audit-ready state. The analyst will also play a key role in preparing materials for CIO-level sessions.

- Responsibilities:
- Support CIO-level sessions by coordinating logistics, preparing and distributing materials and pre-reads, capturing detailed meeting minutes, maintaining decision and action logs, and driving follow-up to closure items.
- Maintain and continuously improve Workday governance documentation and artifacts within Confluence, including operating rhythms, templates, RACI matrices, process flows, decision logs, and knowledge articles.
- Administer the Confluence site and ensure content hygiene for Workday governance and delivery processes.
- Support portfolio execution by tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, approvals, and key dates; escalate blockers and risks with clear context and recommended next steps.
- Assist with third-party risk (TPRM) activities, including Archer attestations, ongoing monitoring tasks, evidence collection, due date tracking, and maintaining audit-ready documentation for vendors.
- Maintain third-party relationship trackers and coordinate with internal partners and vendors to meet compliance timelines.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize governance and documentation practices, thereby improving consistency, transparency, and audit readiness.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in PMO, project coordination, governance operations, vendor risk coordination, or enterprise application support roles.
- Demonstrated strength in documentation and knowledge management, with advanced experience using Confluence (page design, templates, governance repositories, content organization).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality meeting minutes and stakeholder-ready summaries.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple workstreams.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Workday (HCM, Recruiting, Finance, or related areas) and/or HR technology environments.
- Experience supporting TPM processes and tools (e.g., Archer), compliance routines, or audit support.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery concepts and basic SDLC/release management practices.

Compensation & Location
