Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Workday Time & Attendance Specialist to manage, optimize, and support time tracking and attendance processes within Workday. This role will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, and Operations to ensure accurate time data processing and system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Time Tracking and Attendance business processes, rules, and schedules.
- Act as the primary SME and point of contact for all Time & Attendance functionality within Workday.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and Operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations and design solutions.
- Ensure accurate flow of time data to Payroll and other downstream systems; troubleshoot and resolve integration and data issues.
- Perform testing for system enhancements, releases, and defect fixes, including unit testing, regression testing, and UAT coordination.
- Monitor data quality and conduct regular audits to identify and correct time and attendance discrepancies.
- Maintain and update pay rules, work schedules, holiday calendars, overtime rules, and time entry validations.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards related to time worked, overtime, exceptions, and compliance requirements.
- Support compliance with internal policies, union rules, and federal, state, and local labor regulations.
- Document system configurations, processes, and job aids; contribute to training materials and user support.
Qualifications
- Experience working with Workday Time Tracking and Attendance modules.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and time data integrations.
- Experience in system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per hour (Estimated)
