Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AEM Architect with a strong focus on Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms to design and implement robust solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define future-state architectures, integrating DAM platforms with enterprise systems, and ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Strong familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms such as Adobe Dynamic Media, Cloudinary, or equivalent, including migration and coexistence strategies.
  • Proven experience integrating DAM platforms with enterprise CMS, e-commerce platforms, and marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Experience with Adobe Dynamic Media and/or Cloudinary (preferred), or similar media management platforms for asset storage, transformation, and delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with headless architecture, API-first design principles, and microservices-based integrations.
  • Solid understanding of CDN technologies, caching strategies, image/video optimization, and responsive media delivery.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js and/or backend development using Java or Python.
  • Working knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure API consumption patterns.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, analytics, and performance tuning of cloud-based services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate current-state Adobe Dynamic Media capabilities into a future-state Cloudinary-based architecture.
  • Collaborate with Cloudinary’s professional services to define the solution architecture for Cloudinary integration across enterprise platforms including CMS, e-commerce systems, and DAM ecosystems.
  • Consult with Cloudinary’s professional services for platform configuration, perform gap and feasibility analysis, and recommend best-practice architectures aligned with scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and oversee Proof of Concept (POC) activities including environment setup, asset validation, routing strategies, and success criteria definition.
  • Implement and govern best practices for media asset ingestion, transformation, optimization, versioning, and delivery using Cloudinary APIs, SDKs, and plugins.
  • Consult on the optimization of image and video delivery through intelligent transformations, caching strategies, and CDN utilization to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
  • Define and implement strategies for bandwidth management, cost optimization, and efficient storage utilization.
  • Consult on the secure handling of media assets by implementing authentication, authorization, access controls, and compliance with enterprise security and data protection standards.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms for Cloudinary services and related integrations.
  • Provide technical documentation, enablement materials, and architectural guidance to development and channel teams.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for Cloudinary-related architecture decisions, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization.

Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 per year (Estimated)
