Job Title: Oracle EBS Business Analyst

Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days a week in office)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will perform analysis and functional configuration of Oracle EBS modules, focusing on TCA (Trading Community Architecture), OAP (Oracle Payables), CM (Cash Management), and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH). You will be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and educating team members on module functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and functional configuration of Oracle EBS modules, specifically TCA, OAP, CM, and FAH.
  • Gather and document business requirements related to core TCA (Vendors), OAP (Banks, Cash Management, Payables), and FAH functions (accounting, reporting, month-end close, journal adjustments).
  • Educate team members and colleagues on TCA, OAP, and FAH functionality.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
  • Document business processes and technical designs.
  • Support system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Experience: 7+ years as a full-time business analyst in a financial or software product environment, including 2 years in a senior staff and/or leadership role.
  • Financial Systems Expertise: Mastery or significant expertise in a field relevant to financial systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, Enterprise Performance Management, Business Intelligence, Financial Accounting).
  • Oracle EBS: Implementation experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), especially TCA, OAP, and FAH. Good knowledge of Oracle EBS core functionality in Release 12 (GL, AP, AR).
  • Accounting Standards: Knowledge of US GAAP or international accounting standards.
  • SDLC: Extensive experience of the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including exposure to MS Project and Visio.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills; ability to analyze and solve problems, accurately identify, document, and recommend solutions to complex business problems.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent research and information gathering skills, innovative mindset, initiative, strong prioritization skills, and results-oriented approach.

This role is with Oracle, a leading technology company. You will be working in a hybrid capacity, requiring at least 3 days a week in the New York City office.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
