Job Description: UI Developer (Frontend – Angular)
We are seeking an experienced UI Developer with a strong background in Angular to join our front-end engineering team. This role is crucial for supporting investment banking and global markets platforms, focusing on building and enhancing large-scale Angular applications. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, architects, and backend engineers to develop high-performance web applications using modern Angular, TypeScript, and reactive programming patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, modular Angular applications following best practices for performance and maintainability.
- Implement modern Angular architecture patterns, including component-driven development and state management.
- Build reactive applications using RxJS, Angular Signals, and modern Angular tooling.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Collaborate with UX teams to deliver intuitive and accessible interfaces for complex, data-intensive financial applications.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Ensure high code quality through testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to front-end development standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong experience with Angular (v16+ / v19 preferred).
- Proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building enterprise-scale web applications.
- Strong understanding of component architecture, modular design, and state management.
- Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth2 / OIDC and secure coding practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Playwright.
- Ability to work in Agile, cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Nx monorepo architecture.
- Knowledge of Angular Signals or Angular Universal (SSR).
- Experience integrating with Spring Boot, Node.js, or other enterprise APIs.
- Familiarity with modern build tools such as Vite or ESBuild.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube and ESLint.
