Job Title: Java EE Engineer with Cloudinary

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java EE Engineer with specific expertise in Cloudinary integration to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This is an onsite contract role requiring 8+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end architectures for Cloudinary integration with enterprise systems, optimizing media asset management, and ensuring seamless workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end architecture for Cloudinary integration with enterprise systems (CMS, e-commerce platforms, DAM, etc.).
- Implement best practices for media asset management, transformations, and delivery using Cloudinary.
- Lead the technical implementation of Cloudinary APIs, SDKs, and plugins.
- Integrate Cloudinary with front-end and back-end applications, ensuring seamless workflows.
- Optimize image/video transformations, caching, and CDN delivery for high performance.
- Implement strategies for cost optimization and efficient storage usage within Cloudinary.
- Ensure secure handling of media assets, including authentication, authorization, and compliance with data protection standards.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Cloudinary services, along with bandwidth management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Technical Skills & Competencies:
- 8+ years of overall experience in software engineering.
- Strong experience with Cloudinary or similar media management platforms.
- Proficiency in Advanced Java Concepts and Java EE Solutions.
- Experience with Java API Management & Microservices.
- Familiarity with Digital technologies like Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Java/Python.
- Knowledge of CDN technologies, image/video optimization, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with DAM systems, headless architecture, and API-first design.
- Experience integrating DAM with e-commerce platforms or CMS systems.
