Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer for a contract position in NYC, NY. This role requires 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on distributed systems and architecture. The candidate will be working in the client’s office 5 days a week. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust applications using Java 17 or later, leveraging Java concurrency, lambda expressions, and functional programming. Proficiency in the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) and related technologies is essential. The role also demands strong SQL skills and experience with major database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle. Front-end development experience with Angular 15 and related technologies (TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications using Java 17 or later.
- Implement solutions using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
- Design and interact with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle).
- Develop front-end components using Angular 15, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on distributed systems and architecture.
- Proficiency in Java 17 or later, including Java concurrency, lambda expressions, and functional programming.
- Experience with Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Cloud), and related technologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with major database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience with Angular 15 and related technologies (TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
