Job Title: Gen AI Engineer – Telecom Domain
We are seeking a skilled Gen AI Engineer with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to join our team. This role focuses on designing and implementing Generative AI solutions specifically for telecom business use cases. You will be instrumental in developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) for telecom-specific applications, building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for knowledge-based systems, and implementing advanced prompt engineering strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for telecom business use cases.
- Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for telecom-specific applications.
- Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for knowledge-based systems (customer support, troubleshooting, network docs).
- Implement prompt engineering strategies and model fine-tuning.
- Work with structured and unstructured telecom data (CDRs, network logs, OSS/BSS data).
- Deploy models using MLOps best practices.
- Collaborate with data engineers, network teams, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure scalable deployment on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Core Technical Skills:
Programming:
- Strong proficiency in Python (Mandatory).
- Working knowledge of R, Java, or C++.
ML/DL Frameworks:
- PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Scikit-learn, Keras.
- Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience with Ollama or similar LLM deployment tools.
Generative AI Expertise:
- LLM fine-tuning.
- Prompt Engineering.
- RAG Architecture.
- Vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, ChromaDB).
- Embeddings & semantic search.
Data & Engineering:
- SQL & NoSQL databases.
- Pandas, NumPy.
- Telecom data handling (CDR, network logs, billing data).
- Data preprocessing & feature engineering.
Cloud & DevOps:
- AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Docker, Kubernetes.
- CI/CD pipelines.
- MLOps tools.
This role requires a candidate with a strong foundation in AI/ML and practical experience in deploying and managing AI solutions in a cloud environment. The ability to work with complex telecom data and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial for success.
