Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and domain-savvy Business Analyst / Tech Solution Analyst with extensive experience in Transaction Banking, Treasury Services, and Cash Management. This role is critical for translating complex business needs into clear, testable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cash concentration structures, deposit products, and earnings credit calculations, combined with excellent analytical and technical communication skills. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Tampa, Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements and Analysis:
- Lead discovery workshops to understand business requirements and document ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes.
- Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for cash concentration, deposit products, and benefit calculations (interest, ECR, account analysis).
- Translate complex business rules for calculations (e.g., day count conventions, cutoffs, tiers, thresholds, rate indices, accrual/compound methods, exception handling) into clear functional designs and test cases.
- Map data lineage and reconciliation needs across source systems, ledgers, and reporting, specifying controls for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Solution Design and Delivery:
- Create detailed functional specifications, interface contracts, and sequence flows for APIs, batch processes, and event-driven integrations.
- Collaborate closely with architects and engineers on evaluating solution options, defining non-functional requirements (resilience, performance), and planning phased rollout strategies.
- Drive backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions, ensuring full traceability from requirements to test cases.
- Partner closely with Product, Architecture, Engineering, Treasury/Finance, and Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Technical and Analytical Skills:
- Proficiency in writing functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong documentation and version control habits.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.
- Comfort with data modeling and mapping (source to target).
- Experience with API specifications (REST/JSON), interface contracts, and testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Knowledge of batch scheduling and file formats.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum) and backlog management tools (Jira/Confluence or similar).
- Domain Expertise:
- 5 to 8 years of experience as a BA or Tech Solution Analyst in Transaction Banking, Treasury Services, or Cash Management.
- Hands-on exposure to cash concentration structures (zero-target balance sweeps, physical/notional).
- Experience with deposit products and earnings credit/interest calculations.
- Familiarity with balance and timing concepts (ledger vs. available vs. collected, value dating, daylight overdraft, cutoffs, time zone impacts).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional delivery, manage dependencies and risks, and communicate clearly with both business and engineering stakeholders.

- Full-time, working from the office in Tampa, FL.
