Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with a strong background in banking and financial services to lead end-to-end project delivery within the Investment Management Technology organization. This role is crucial for establishing standardized processes and data management around Fund/Product Launches and extending them across the MSIM platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery, governance, and reporting of multiple projects.
- Interact with business partners and cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Establish and streamline standardized processes and data management for Fund/Product Launches.
- Extend processes to the cross-MSIM platform for fund lifecycle management.
- Manage project plans, identify and track dependencies, resolve constraints, and manage resource conflicts.
- Assess impacts to the plan, forecast use of funds, and ensure adherence to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Report progress against the plan effectively.
- Engage with client-facing roles and manage multiple stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
- Lead and manage organizational change, identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Utilize RACI governance models to define stakeholder accountability.
- Establish, maintain, and report on business outcomes using OKRs and KPIs.
- Develop and execute project communication plans, facilitate team meetings, and prepare for executive steering committee meetings.
- Gather content for deliverables, present them at tollgates, and obtain stakeholder sign-offs.
- Maintain a project team repository of deliverables and documentation.
- Prepare change requests and obtain necessary signatures.
- Escalate issues to executive steering committee members, providing solution options and facilitating decision-making.
- Prepare weekly status reports, track open issues, and update risks (probability, severity, impact) and mitigation plans.
- Participate in PMO meetings to identify potential dependencies or constraints.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project for effective reporting, including dashboards and scorecards.

- Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects with cross-functional teams and tight deadlines.
- Strong experience in working with client-facing roles and handling multiple stakeholders.
- Experience leading business and technology transformation in global financial institutions.
- Proven ability to lead and manage organizational change and implement process improvements.
- Expertise with key project artifacts such as RACI governance model.
- Expertise in establishing, maintaining, and reporting business outcomes, leveraging OKRs and KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening, presentation, negotiation, and influencing.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, with strong critical thinking and thought leadership skills.
- Proven attention to detail in driving management reporting with clear and concise quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Superior planning and organization skills; proactive and a team player.
- Ability to multitask and work across various groups in a global, dynamic environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or other reporting and project management tools.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in a business and technology-relevant field.
- 8+ years of leading business and technology transformation in global financial institutions.
- Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile project work.
- Demonstrated understanding of performance drivers and decision-making to maximize results.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to operationalize strategy and problem-solve.
- Hands-on expertise with data dictionary, data lineage, and data governance is a plus.
- Project Management certification is preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in Investment Management and/or Alternative Investments (client types, products, lifecycle, processes, systems).
- Prior experience with investment backing or trading background.
About the Role:
This is a 12-month contract role based in NYC, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong BFS background and prior investment backing or trading background experience. The role requires excellent communication and presentation skills to influence a wide range of audiences.
