Job Description:

IMR Soft is seeking a hands-on Scala Developer with strong in-depth knowledge of Scala and database expertise for a 12-month contract opportunity in New York, NY. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and work with leading technology in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  • Position: Scala Developer
  • Location: NYC, NY (Local or nearby resources preferred)
  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Experience: 10+ years

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Scala
  • Moderate Java Experience is required
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Teradata, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Expertise in ETL pipeline development and data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure)
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Databricks, and Airflow

Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
