Job Description: US Application Architect – SAP HANA Development

This role requires a skilled Application Architect with expertise in SAP HANA Development, focusing on S/4 HANA and RISE. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

  • Required Skills: Prior experience with Oil & Gas, S/4 HANA, and RISE.
  • Rate: $80/hr
  • Band: 9
  • Nice to have skills: Comfortable leading technical RAPID Discovery and creating Architecture/roadmap.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Lead/Facilitate RAPID Discovery Activities: Ability to lead and facilitate discovery sessions to define project scope and technical direction.
  • SAP HANA Configurations: Knowledge of SAP HANA configurations, particularly SAP BDC.
  • Project Management & Leadership: Hands-on and leadership skills in managing projects involving Application architecture of SAP HANA, Suite on HANA Migrations (including Hanatization – Code Remediation), and S/4HANA Migration using the Custom Development Migration Worklist tool.
  • Code Pushdown Strategy: Define the code pushdown strategy by comparing various techniques and recommend tools for optimization.
  • S/4HANA Architecture & Fiori: Strong knowledge in S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration, applying them based on client’s business requirements.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor guiding the team in S/4HANA and SoH Implementation/Migration Projects.
  • HANA Studio & Development: Possess skills in installing, configuring, and using HANA Studio with the ABAP development tool.
  • HANA Administration & Modeling: Knowledge of the HANA Administration Console, HANA development, and HANA Modeling tools.
  • Optimization: Able to identify objects for optimization and apply advanced HANA Code push features, including advanced OPEN SQL, AMDP, HANA Native SQL, and HANA SQL Script add-ons.
