Job Opportunity: SAP Cloud Program Manager
We are representing Sierra and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP Cloud Program Manager to work remotely in the USA. This contract role is for 12+ months.
SAP Cloud Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SAP cloud-related programs, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of SAP Data Analytics solutions, including SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Manage program risks, issues, and changes effectively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure strong communication and alignment across distributed delivery teams and international customers.
- Apply project management methodologies with a focus on risk mitigation and resource optimization.
- Drive program execution, monitor progress, and provide regular status reports to senior management.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and align on program strategy.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative environment among program team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure the program aligns with the overall business strategy and objectives.
- Oversee the adoption of modern cloud data architectures.
- Manage program budgets and resource allocation effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within SAP cloud initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Lead and mentor program team members, fostering their professional development.
- Conduct post-program reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices.
- Manage the integration of SAP solutions with other cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Ensure the successful transition of programs to operational support.
- Champion the use of cloud technologies and best practices within the organization.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate decision-making within the program team.
- Ensure the security and integrity of data throughout the program lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and tools.
- Align program activities with global business needs and market trends.
SAP SecOPs Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and automation for SAP security operations.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Python or PowerShell to automate log simulation and test case execution.
- Utilize testing frameworks or “Mock Data” generators to validate SIEM logic.
- Possess expert understanding of the SAP Authorization Model, including roles, profiles, and the PFCG environment.
- Have hands-on experience with SAP Log Sources such as Security Audit Log (SAL), HANA Audit logs, Read Access Logging (RAL), and Table Logging.
- Demonstrate familiarity with security differences between legacy SAP and modern S/4HANA landscapes.
- Understand GRC Concepts, including Access Risk Analysis (ARA) and Emergency Access Management (EAM/Firefighter), to distinguish between authorized and unauthorized “high-risk” actions.
- Execute test cases to ensure the effectiveness of SAP security controls.
- Identify and report security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Collaborate with security and IT teams to implement remediation measures.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of security testing procedures.
- Stay current with SAP security best practices and emerging threats.
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of SAP security solutions.
- Document test results and provide recommendations for security improvements.
- Support security audits and compliance activities.
- Troubleshoot security-related issues and provide timely resolution.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Participate in security awareness training and initiatives.
- Develop and execute security test plans for new SAP implementations and upgrades.
- Validate the effectiveness of access controls and segregation of duties.
- Monitor SAP systems for security events and anomalies.
- Contribute to the overall security posture of the SAP environment.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing as required.
- Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development of security policies and guidelines.
- Provide technical expertise on SAP security matters.
- Support incident response activities related to SAP security.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management or lead consulting roles.
- Deep SAP Analytics Expertise: Proven track record in SAP Data Analytics (e.g., SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Cloud Fluency: Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern cloud data architectures.
- Global Flexibility: Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
- Program Management Excellence: Mastery of project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python or Power for scripting.
- Experience using testing frameworks or “Mock Data” generators.
- Expert understanding of SAP Authorization Model (roles, profiles, PFCG).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Log Sources (SAL, HANA Audit logs, RAL, Table Logging).
- Familiarity with S/4HANA & ECC security differences.
