Job Description
The client is seeking a highly skilled and specialized Electrical Engineer with a strong proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical and AutoCAD for electrical design tasks. This is a critical role requiring a dedicated electrical specialist, and candidates with backgrounds in mechanical or structural engineering looking to transition will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design using SolidWorks Electrical and AutoCAD.
- Be open and flexible to learning Revit for future project needs.
- Collaborate with production teams to capture redlines and update designs.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Maintain full-time presence in the Houston office.
- Conduct regular site visits to production facilities as required by the role.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Must be highly proficient in SolidWorks Electrical and AutoCAD for electrical design.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software, including Revit.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be local to Houston, TX, or willing to relocate for the onsite requirement.
Employment Details
- Tenure: 12 Months contract.
- Location: Houston, TX (Onsite). Candidates in Baltimore, MD or Pittsburgh, PA are also considered if willing to relocate or travel frequently.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite.
