Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Argo Banking Application Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Argo Sales & Service or Teller platforms. The role involves customization, integration, troubleshooting, and support of banking applications in a large enterprise environment. Candidates must have deep knowledge of Argo objects, transactions, and .NET Bridge integrations, along with strong debugging and production support skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development & Customization
    • Develop, customize, and enhance applications using the Argo Sales & Service or Teller platform through the Argo customization tool.
    • Work extensively with Argo objects, including:
      • Enablers
      • Business transactions
      • Host communication transactions
    • Customize workflows and business logic to support banking operations and customer-facing applications.
  • Integration & Technical Support
    • Implement and support integrations using .NET Bridge external expansion components developed in C#.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues by analyzing Argo application and production logs.
    • Diagnose and fix defects across application, integration, and data layers.
    • Provide production support for banking applications in a large corporate environment.
  • Development Practices & Collaboration
    • Develop, debug, and maintain code using modern programming languages (primarily C# / ASP.NET).
    • Work with structured and semi-structured data formats such as XML and XSLT.
    • Build and maintain UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Forms.
    • Follow SDLC best practices including:
      • Requirements analysis
      • Development
      • Testing
      • Deployment
      • Support
    • Participate in Agile delivery processes, including CI/CD based development and deployments.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience developing on:
    • Argo Sales & Service OR
    • Argo Teller platform
  • Strong knowledge of Argo customization tools and framework.
  • Solid understanding of Argo objects, enablers, business transactions, and host communications.
  • Experience integrating Argo with .NET Bridge external expansion components (C#).
  • Proven ability to read and analyze Argo logs for troubleshooting production issues.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications in a large enterprise banking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • ASP.NET 4.5
    • C# 5.0
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Forms, XSLT, XML
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $55 – $75 per year (Estimated)
