About the Role:
Seeking a Digital Product Owner with strong expertise in Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance pricing and rating to lead product development initiatives. The role focuses on defining product vision, managing backlogs, and driving delivery using Agile and SAFe methodologies within Guidewire-based ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into product features and user stories
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value
- Oversee end-to-end product development lifecycle including design and delivery
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and Agile sprints
- Monitor product performance and ensure alignment with business goals
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and end-users for continuous improvement
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
- Hands-on expertise in Pricing & Rating tools (Ratabase, Earnix)
- Experience as a Product Owner in Guidewire (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) environments
- Proficiency in Scrum, Agile, and SAFe methodologies
- Experience with Digital Flow/Stream implementations
- Expertise in Jira and Rally for backlog and sprint management
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of Product Management and Product Development lifecycle
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Experience with product development architecture
- Familiarity with design quality standards and analytics tools
