Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager with strong JAVA experience to join our team. This is an onsite role located in Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, with at least 6 years in Agile project management combined with Java/J2EE/Microservices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Oversee Agile project management methodologies, ensuring efficient sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
  • Provide hands-on experience and guidance in Java/J2EE and Microservices development.
  • Ensure the implementation and management of Spring Boot and Microservices architectures.
  • Oversee the development and integration of Rest APIs.
  • Manage and utilize AWS services including S3, EC2, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
  • Ensure the use of Junit and Cucumber for effective testing.
  • Implement and manage DevOps practices, including version control tools (Maven, Jenkins, Git, svn, Attunity, Bit bucket, Bamboo).
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines and SQL database management.
  • Facilitate the integration of Rest APIs.
  • Build and manage public and private cloud infrastructure using AWS, EC2, and S3 resources.
  • Deploy and automate AWS environments using Cloud Formation Template (CFT) scripts and stack sets.
  • Develop APIs for consuming AWS cloud resources using SDKs.
  • Develop scripts for AWS Lambda to migrate and capture change data from legacy systems to DynamoDB.
  • Write complex parallel streams and filters for data refinement and client search optimization.
  • Design, develop, and provide guidance on implementing microservices and unit testing using REST/Jersey frameworks.
  • Support the production environment, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Review code and designs, providing expertise in system development and integration.

Technical Skills Required

  • Minimum 10+ years of overall experience.
  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in Agile project management.
  • Strong experience with Java/J2EE and Microservices.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices development.
  • Experience with Rest APIs development and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, EC2, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, Lambda.
  • Experience with Junit and Cucumber.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices (Maven, Jenkins, Git, svn, Attunity, Bit bucket, Bamboo).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and SQL.
  • Experience in building and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Formation Template (CFT) scripts.
  • Experience developing APIs using AWS SDKs.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda for data migration and management.
  • Experience in designing and developing microservices.

  • This is a contract role.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $75 per year (Estimated)
